This summer marks the fourth major construction season at Grand Teton’s most popular destination—Jenny Lake. Our campaign in partnership with Grand Teton National Park is renewing this iconic location by restoring trails and pathways, creating engaging interpretive spaces, and ensuring Jenny Lake continues to inspire visitors well into the future.
Early season work has allowed Grand Teton National Park to open a variety of trails and destinations at Jenny Lake. A huge thanks to trail crews for their incredible effort to get these areas open in time for the busy summer season—this was no easy feat given the large amount of snow in the valley this spring.
Summer 2017 is the fourth and final major construction season as part of our Inspiring Journeys campaign that is restoring Grand Teton’s most popular destination—Jenny Lake. This project will create an inviting and sustainable trail system, improving both wayfinding and accessibility. Visitors will be impacted by construction this summer.
