There is no shortage of wildlife activity during the month of June as wolf pups, grizzly cubs, and ungulate calves are playing and exploring, bird eggs are hatching and nestlings are feeding, and Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout and Utah suckers are spawning in park lakes.

In the agreement announced by Governor Mead and Secretary Jewell, the State of Wyoming will provide the National Park Service until December 31, 2016 to acquire the remaining state school sections within Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton National Park Foundation and the DC-based National Park Foundation have launched a $23 million private fundraising campaign to help the National Park Service purchase the Antelope Flats tract.
