Run the Grand Teton 5K or Half Marathon AND support the park!

Vacation Races hosts running events across the country and throughout the world while connecting athletes with some of the most iconic national park destinations on the planet. The organization has held an event in our backyard for several years—the Grand Teton 5k and half marathon—that provides runners with the opportunity to experience the Tetons while giving back to the local community through Vacation Races’ nonprofit arm, Wander Project.

Grand Teton National Park Foundation has been the lucky recipient of funding from Wander Project for the last two years. The organization has awarded grants that have furthered our work in partnership in Grand Teton National Park, including trail projects, wildlife and natural resource conservation, and education efforts. Their generosity has had a tremendous impact on the park, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with them again in 2021.

This year’s Grand Teton race will be held June 4 – 5 in Jackson, with views of the Tetons throughout the entire course. The only option left for participating in the event is to get a Charity Bib (regular registration is already sold out). Charity Bibs require the athlete to raise a minimum of $1,000 through their personal network, which will be given back to the local national park through Wander Project. And, new this year, if runners reach certain thresholds in their fundraising efforts, they have the opportunity to participate in adventurous outdoor activities in Jackson after the race (see below)!
