Join Local Business Leaders TODAY and Help Ensure Grooming Continues in Grand Teton this Winter

TPR winter

This winter marks the twelfth year that Grand Teton National Park Foundation has raised funds to support regular grooming in Grand Teton National Park. Gliding below the Teton Range on the inner park road has become a favorite pastime for locals and visitors alike, and we are proud to provide this incredible experience in the park.

Costs have increased significantly this year, and we still need to raise $13,000 in order to groom from now until mid-March. If we are unable to meet our goal, we may need to reduce grooming days or stop altogether.

Thanks to generous individuals and the local business community, including Skinny Skis, Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures, and Dornan’s, we have been able to groom three days per week until now. We hope you will join these business leaders and make a gift toward grooming today.

“As a Nordic skier, I can’t think of an experience more unique than skiing at the base of the Grand Tetons. The groomed track heading north from the Taggart Lake parking area to Signal Mountain offers stunningly scenic views, not just of the Tetons but also the Gros Ventre & Absaroka mountain ranges and various southern plateaus of Yellowstone.

As an owner of a cross-country ski shop in Jackson, WY, being able to suggest the groomed track skiing in Grand Teton National Park as a destination to our customers is to provide a recommendation that will likely lead to an experience of a lifetime. Skinny Skis is proud to partner with the Grand Teton National Park Foundation to ensure this valuable recreational opportunity continues for years to come.” – Scott O’Brien, Skinny Skis Owner

“At EcoTour Adventures, we’re incredibly grateful for the Foundation’s work in maintaining and grooming the trail in Grand Teton National Park. A strong Nordic community is vital to Jackson Hole, and we rely on these well-groomed trails—particularly along the Teton Park Road—to help our guests develop their cross-country skiing skills before we head off into the backcountry. By supporting the grooming project, we’re both giving back and ensuring visitors continue to enjoy safe, accessible winter adventures in this fantastic region.”    – Taylor Phillips, Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures Owner
