Few Things Inspire Americans Like the Immense Natural and Physical Beauty and the Historical Poignancy of National Parks

Grand Teton National Park Foundation was created in 1997 to provide financial support for projects that enhance and protect Grand Teton National Park's treasured cultural, historic and natural resources.

Have You Heard?
The White House Initiative
on America's Great Outdoors

On April 16, 2010, the Foundation and 499 representatives from leading conservation organizations convened in Washington DC for President Obama's launch of a 21st Century Strategy for America's Great Outdoors. The event focused on innovative ideas and real solutions that are protecting the nation's greatest places and reconnecting families to nature. Now, the White House has asked participants to reach out and discuss amazing efforts, large and small, that are improving diverse landscapes with the hope of engaging 50 million people across the country.

The Goal

To rally support for the many on-the-ground programs that are addressing issues facing protected lands before we lose touch with the places and proud traditions that have made America great.
