To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, National Geographic launched a year-long exploration of the power of national parks. This month’s edition of the famous magazine is focused solely on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Author David Quammen wrote the entire issue and discusses a number of topics including wildlife protection and management, land use, and tourism. Combined with exceptional photography and thought-provoking articles, this publication is a must-read.
