Help Protect Grand Teton’s Wildlife – Gift a Bear Box!

Grizzly bears are extremely protective of their young. Exercise extreme caution if you encounter a sow with cubs.

Looking for a great holiday gift for the wildlife enthusiast in your life?

$2,500 funds a bear-resistant food storage box in Grand Teton National Park, with a 3 x 5 inch plaque to acknowledge your special person. They will also receive a teddy bear and information about how proper food storage helps protect Grand Teton's iconic bears. The locker will be located in one of Grand Teton's scenic campsites and will be around for you, your loved ones, and thousands of visitors to enjoy and utilize for years to come.

Thanks to donors, more than 600 boxes have been installed to date, moving us closer to our goal of installing 1,000 bear boxes in Grand Teton National Park’s campgrounds and picnic areas.

Support this effort today and give your loved one a gift they will appreciate for a lifetime!

Contact Lenea Luna at 307-732-0629 or lenea@gtnpf.org for more information. Donors cannot choose the location of their bear box, the National Park Service selects each spot based on where they are needed most.
