Fundraising for Antelope Flats is Underway

The Antelope Flats Parcel is valued at $46 million and consists of 640 acres in the heart of Grand Teton National Park and features outstanding scenic, recreational, and wildlife values. Grand Teton National Park Foundation and the DC-based National Park Foundation have launched a $23 million private fundraising campaign to help the National Park Service purchase the Antelope Flats tract. The NPS is working to secure the other half of the purchase price, $23 million, from the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund. We need less than $1 million to meet our goal to purchase the Antelope Flats Parcel. The sale of this state parcel will inject $46 million of critical funding into Wyoming’s public school system. The goal is to secure funding for the Antelope Flats Parcel by December 2016. A strategy to secure the Kelly Parcel will be developed in the future if the funding to purchase Antelope Flats can be completed before year-end.
