Trail Talk: Life on the crew of Grand Teton National Park’s Youth Conservation Program – Week 7

This week the YCP ventured into the backcountry, setting up a base camp at the Lower Berry Cabin. From here, they gathered their hand tools and started work on a much needed reroute in Lower Webb Canyon. This reroute bypasses a historically swampy and sometimes impassible section of trail. The crew worked tirelessly building trail through rocks, vegetation, and downfall. The team left hungry, tired, and accomplished.
