We are saddened to share the news that longtime friend and board member of Grand Teton National Park Foundation, Clay James, passed away on Tuesday, October 27th. A celebration of Clay’s life will be held at 4pm on Thursday, November 5th, at Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park. Please travel via Hwy 89/191 through Moran Junction to reach Jackson Lake Lodge. All are welcome to attend.

Clay was an incredible supporter of Grand Teton National Park. He was instrumental to the formation of the Foundation in 1997 and the creation of the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center. We will sincerely miss Clay and his unwavering passion for protecting Grand Teton for the enjoyment of future generations.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to the Foundation in Clay’s memory. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 249, Moose, WY 83012, or made here on our website.
